Smart garden in Queen’s Park (NW6)
We were invited to design a new layout and planting for this North London garden when the house was redeveloped and a new basement installed. We created three different areas, each with a distinctive and welcoming atmosphere.
We gave the lower courtyard garden a calm feel, using whites and lime greens with contrasting foliage and texture.
At the upper level near the house we wanted a vibrant vibe, and the new plants included vivacious roses and other colourful perennials.
Further down the garden we were able to retain some existing mature trees, which we supplemented with woodland planting, creating a journey via stepping stones towards an inviting seating area at the end of the garden.
