Vibrant contemporary West London garden (W5)

 

This award-winning garden was designed to provide a colourful and original setting in a very overlooked suburban location for an artistic client who paints outside. The carefully planned work included construction of a backlit feature wall using strip lighting, corten panels and trellis; two kinds of paving, one of which was plank paving carefully laid at an angle to the house with staggered edges; a central covered pergola to provide shelter and screening; and planting of evergreen trees for screening around the boundary – all to produce the right kind of relaxing visual ambience and creative environment. 

Components include a feature wall constructed using corten steel panels from Stark and Greensmith, and a metal pergola from London Stone. 

This garden won a Silver Merit award at the Association of Professional Landscapers Awards 2024
