Family garden in Shepherd's Bush (W12)

This Shepherd’s Bush garden was redesigned to accommodate extensive redevelopment of the house and a new garden room.

We used an engaging informal style with curved borders and a curved stepping stone path to join two new Yorkstone patios at either end of the garden, one of which provided a welcoming space for barbecuing and lounging. 

We also included a smart water feature from the ceramicist Lucy Smith.

The planting was carefully designed to assist with screening the garden from neighbouring properties, and to offer a calm and peaceful feel.
